MIAMI (WSVN) - Bieber fever hit South Florida this weekend as the Canadian pop star hit the stage in Downtown Miami and devoted “Beliebers” stocked up on gear at a pop-up store on South Beach.

It’s all over social media: Thousands of screaming fans greeted Justin Bieber as he walked on stage at the American Airlines Arena for the first of two Miami concerts, Saturday night.

Speaking with 7News outside the venue, Houston fan Kristina Mason pledged her undying love to the Grammy winner. “[I love] his music, and he’s beautiful. He’s my soulmate. He just doesn’t know it yet,” she said.

Gray Sanchez came from Mexico City for an epic 11th birthday. “I love him, and I love his songs,” she said.

She’s keeping company with other fans excited to be here. “I’ve been wanting to go to a Justin Bieber concert since I was in, like, eighth grade,” said an older fan. “Now I’m in my 20s, and it’s kind of crazy, but now I’m getting the opportunity to do it,” she said.

Meanwhile, a pop-up store at Alchemist on South Beach made sure fans who were sorry they couldn’t score a seat for this weekend’s concerts could purchase, say, a Justin Bieber “Sorry” T’shirt.

“We were trying, but we didn’t have anywhere to stay in Miami,” said Gabriela Ramirez, one of those unfortunate fans unable to buy a concert ticket.

Venezuelan “Belieber” Isabella Cova said the singer has a bright, cheerful presence. “He’s so nice to everyone, and he’s so genuine,” she said.

Coya’s friend, one the other hand, had a uniquely paradoxical view of the Biebs. “I love him so much that I hate him,” she said.
