When you think Dim Sum you might think about a cart rolling around a Chinese restaurant with some of your favorite dumplings on board.  Well thanks to the tag team chefs at The Sarsaparilla Club American Dim Sum is the new cart on the block.

Chefs Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth bring some American style comfort food to those Southeast-Asian dim sum favorites.  They’ve got some standards like beef and short rib dumplings and everyone’s favorite house-made buns with pork belly bacon.  But items like heirloom tomatoes with house-made ricotta and tomato sorbet and drunken deviled eggs also part of their dim sum deal.  The a la’ carte menu offers plenty of goodies too like spiced honey carrots and farro salad, sweet corn grits, Jeff’s famous fried chicken and a steamed snapper for those trying to keep it light.

The indoor/outdoor space in the Shelborne Wyndham Grand Hotel on South Beach offers happy hour specials weekdays and all day Sunday brunch so get yourself over to the Sarsaparilla Club and check out what’s rolling around on those carts.
