It took them several years to make their vision a reality but the developers of Miami Beach’s Faena District thought of just about everything. A hotel, residential condos, retail space, arts and entertainment venues, you name it and this four block stretch between 32nd and 36th streets along Collins Avenue will have it once the entire project is completed.

The whole district thing can be overwhelming so let’s just focus on the Faena Miami Beach Hotel for now. Even better, let’s focus on the restaurants at the hotel. What the heck, let’s break it down even further and turn our attention to Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, just one of several cutting edge culinary destinations at the Faena Miami Beach Hotel. At Los Fuegos — Argentinian grillmaster Mallmann, known for his live-fire cooking, brings his delicious rustic recipes to our sunny shores. And because they’ve thought of everything at Faena “Sunday Asado” is here to save the day.

For $75 per person you can choose from some of Los Fuegos greatest hits. Start with some wood oven prime filet empanadas, then pick from 5 different first course items like pink grapefruit salad, sweetbreads a la parilla or provoleta (gooey Argentine Provolone cheese) served with warm bread. For your second course it’s all about the “parrillada” (grilled) items. Marinated pork, chicken, skirt steak, wild salmon, chorizo, rib eye, pick your favorite and a side dish to go with it. Dessert is included too. So get fired up people and head to Los Fuegos for the Sunday Asado experience.
