Live music. You don’t see a lot of it at South Florida restaurants but now one Coral Gables eatery is looking to change that. When you step into 320 Gastrolounge it’s one-stop-shopping dining. Live music, yummy food and a full service bar. They’re looking to make happy hour, well, happy again.
The restaurant, located within the Shops at Merrick Park, offers, what Chef Juan Aguero, calls a Latin-Asian fusion menu. Some signature dishes include Skirt Steak Croquettes ($10), Vaca Frita Buns ($13), a charred marinated octopus Pulpo 320 ($16) and the Braised Short Rib ($33) that falls right off the bone.
There’s a main dining room, a lounge for late night nosh and an outdoor patio for when the weather cools down. The band keeps it hot while the chef keeps it tasty.
