If you’re in the mood for food from Japan or Thailand, no problem, SoFlo’s got you covered. There are plenty of places to get great sushi and pad thai. An eatery in the 954 has a brand new take on these old favorites. One bite, and you’ll beg for more…

Beg For More in Fort Lauderdale is a Thai and Japanese tapas restaurant. The vision behind it is simple — bring people together by offering food that’s unique and delectable.

Suri, Owner of Beg For More: "I just want to make some spot that people can come enjoy and fun with the family menu, but the taste is different."

Nobody’s going through the motions here. What winds up on your plate comes straight from the heart…

Suri: "I love to eat and I have the passion of the food."

Love, passion and a sense of humor… why else call a fruit and fish-based sushi roll Beg For More, or mix shrimp tempura, bell peppers, avocado and chopped Tuna and name it the Kiss of Fire?

Suri: "I wanted people to come and feel different when they go to the Thai and Japanese restaurant."

Pineapple fried rice is a big favorite. Filled with shrimp, chicken and vegetables, it sits on the fruit that bears its name. Lobster pad thai wrapped in egg is one of the specialties of the house.

Suri: "Like pad thai here is very different. Like we use the fresh noodle and sauté with our recipe sauce right, and it’s wrapped with the whole egg and the lobster is on the top."

Countries collide quite peacefully when you order the green curry. The dish is served with roti, the traditional flatbread of India…

Don’t miss the dumplings either.  The owner’s mom came up with the recipe…

Suri: "Yes she teach me so I can do it too."

There’s plenty of sake to choose from to help you wash down your dinner. Once you try the food at beg for more, you’ll feel just like the boss…

Suri: "I’m happy. Everyday, I want to come here."
