(WSVN) - Barbra Streisand is three days into her American tour. And she’s also got a new album out. But Babs isn’t just relying on her own star power. She got a bunch of celebrity friends to help out.

Barbra Streisand (singing): “Any moment now…”

Barbra Streisand is in a Broadway state of mind.

The legendary singer has a new album called “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway.”

The release features stars like Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman, to name a few.

Barbra Streisand: “This is a way for me to use actors, who act and sing, with Broadway material. So the first person I thought of was Hugh Jackman.”

Hugh Jackman (singing): “‘Any moment now, she’ll notice me.”

Barbra Streisand: “He could be a werewolf or whatever he is, Wolverine. And yet he’s a wonderful actor who sings great.”

Hugh Jackman: “When I got the email about it, I literally stared at my phone. My wife, who is the biggest Barbara Streisand fan, she thought something was wrong. I said, ‘Read this,’ and she read it and she screamed. I was like, ‘I don’t know how on Earth this has happened.’ And she goes, ‘But you’re doing it!’ I said, ‘Of course I’m doing it.'”

Alec Baldwin was a bit surprised when he got the call from Babs.

Alec Baldwin: “I thought, ‘Oh, this must be some mistake.’ But here I am.”

Baldwin (singing): “You might be the best thing that has happened to me.”

Jamie Foxx took on “Climb Ev’ry Mountain.”

Jamie Foxx: “‘Climb Ev’ry Mountain,’ we sang at church.”

Foxx and Streisand (singing): “Climb Ev’ry Mountain.”

Anne Hathaway, who’s expecting, showed up to belt out a “Chorus Line” classic.

Anne Hathaway (singing): “He said, ‘Maggie, do you want to dance?'”

Barbra Streisand: “Anne Hathaway was perfect casting for the role of Maggie. When Anne came in, I was so happy to see her looking radiant.”

“Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway” hits stores Aug. 26.
