Did you know that some of the best products for our skin are ones made from natural stuff growing on Earth? And how about products made from earth itself? Today, Deco’s uniting our skin with nature and getting ready to celebrate Earth Day on April 22.

This year, celebrating Earth Day is easy.

Pamela Denise Presley, Aveda Seven Seas Spa and Salon: “We are celebrating Earth Day by offering our spa guests some services that will keep their skin hydrated and prepared for the summer.”

From today until the end of the month, Aveda Seven Seas Spa, inside the Newport Beachside Hotel in Sunny Isles, is giving your face some earthy goodness.

Pamela Denise Presley: “Everything actually comes from the earth, and it helps keep our faces moisturized and cleansed and just prepared for that sunshine and vitamin D we’re about to soak up.”

First up, a little muddy cleansing.

Pamela Denise Presley: “The mud facial is actually for someone who wants to get the impurities out of their skin.”

That’s real mud, combined with real milk, aloe vera, an egg white and chamomile.

Pamela Denise Presley: “Which actually, as we all know, has a calming effect to it, so it definitely prepares the skin for these treatments.”

This one goes for $136 for 50 minutes of bliss. And so does this next one.

Pamela Denise Presley: “A sand facial, which actually works perfectly for us, ’cause we’re right on the beach.”

Sand from our beaches isn’t only for making our friends up north jealous.

Pamela Denise Presley: “This is actually for exfoliation. We add olive oil or a massage oil, and dry beach sand, drops of essential oil to add some aromas that will help with the calmness and the cooling.”

Exfoliation and a face massage. I love you, Earth!

For those with mature skin…

Pamela Denise Presley: “The perfecting plant peel. It’s a thermal mask. It has glucosamine, salicylic acid, magnesium sulfate, and we add organic coconut oil and shea butter.”

Once they put this baby on you, they’ll activate it with a special spray.

Pamela Denise Presley: “There’s an activating spray that we add. It has an organia leaf extract, yeast extracts and chestnut seed extract.”

The peel declares war on your wrinkles for 75 bucks. Declaring peace on Earth Day? Priceless.
