WSVN — If you’re looking for a delicious new way to eat fries, we’ve got just the thing! Asparagus is on the menu — as we grab a Bite with Belkys.

The Chef: Belkys Nerey
The Dish: Asparagus Fries

Ingredients:
1 pound asparagus, trimmed
2 cups Italian style seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 eggs, lightly beaten
salt and pepper to taste

Method of Preparation:

– Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.

– Coat asparagus in flour, then coat in the egg mixture and finally into the bread crumb/Parmesan cheese mixture.

– Arrange the asparagus on a baking sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until golden-brown.

To Plate:
Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy! You can serve the Asparagus Fries when they’re just out of the oven or at room temperature.
