(WSVN) - Various restaurants and organizations are offering free meals in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade County Public Schools distributes Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Tuesdays, students will receive two breakfast and two lunch meals. On Thursdays, M-DCPS will provide three breakfast and three lunch meals. Breakfast and lunch is free for all enrolled M-DCPS students.

Miami

DeliverLean with Mourning Family Foundation and Inter Miami will distribute free meals at Gibson Park every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the foreseeable future. The address is Gibson Park, 401 NW 12th Street, Miami.

National Action Network in partnership with World Central Kitchen will host a drive-thru meal distribution at New Birth Baptist Church every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 12 p.m. The church is located at 2300 NW 135th St. in Miami. Meals will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information click here.

King Jesus International Ministry will host food pantries that distribute 400 food baskets every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. until supplies last. The church is located near the intersection of SW 141st St. and 144th Ave.

Joshua’s Heart Foundation will host a drive-thru food distribution on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Evangel Church International, located at 590 NW 159 St. Families are asked to attend only one distribution per week.

Opa-Locka

Health in the Hood, a local non-profit, is launching its Filling Fridges project to provide fresh produce to displaced students. Filling Fridges is working with the Opa-Locka Community Development Corporation to distribute 100 produce bags on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. via drive-thru at The Pull Up Pantry, 675 Ali Baba Avenue, Opa-Locka.

Make A Wish Veterans will host drive-thru food distributions every Friday at 1881 Ali Baba Ave. from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Miami Gardens

The Miami Dolphins Foundation will provide a minimum of 1,000 meals each weekday out of Hard Rock Stadium to families in need in Miami Gardens through a voucher system. For more information click here.

Southwest Miami-Dade

King Jesus International Ministry is distributing food baskets every Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 8 a.m. until supplies last. The address is 14100 SW 144th Ave., Southwest Miami-Dade.

Broward

Broward County Public Schools will provide children 18 and under, even if they’re not BCPS students, with free meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Contact your nearest school for distribution times.

Oakland Park

Co-Owner Manny Teague of Bowl’d Acai and Fruit Smoothie Bowls in Oakland Park is giving free organic oatmeal to any student from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. They are located at 1520 E. Commercial Blvd. in Oakland Park.

Plantation

Pet food will be distributed every Wednesday 2 – 3 p.m. curbside at Jolly Mutt Pet Grooming Salon & Boutique, 9526 NE 2nd Ave. #104, Miami Shores FL 33138. This will continue as long as they get donations and it is a drive-thru event.

Hollywood

The Networking for Christ Ministry has partnered with Feeding South Florida to provide free breakfast for children every weekday morning, Monday through Friday, at 6122 Washington St.

Fort Lauderdale

The Salvation Army of Broward County will be distributing non-perishable items and other pantry goods every Thursday at The Salvation Army of Broward County, 1445 W. Broward Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

A drive-thru food distribution is held at Community Church of God, 1300 NW 19th Ct., every Saturday. The distribution starts at 11 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m., or until supplies last.
