Happy Independence Day South Florida!

The day started with partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures. However, temperatures will feel very toasty today due to high humidity in the air. We have light winds from the ocean are ranging from 5-10 mph and are coming from the East Southeast.

Towards the middle of the week through Friday, we may experience some record-breaking high temperatures due to a plume of dry air and Saharan Dust pushing from the East. Due to the overwhelming amount of heat and haze pushing in, temperatures will increase and our rain chances will decrease.

Firework events are expected to be mostly dry over the east coast metro area of South Florida this evening. Around the west coast metro areas of South Florida, we could see isolated showers or even thunderstorm.

Tropical Update:

According to the National Hurricane Center, we are not following any areas for development at this time.

Have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July South Florida!
