It’s a breezy start to the week with gusty winds near the coast.   Marine hazards remain in place for boaters and swimmers.   This is due to rough surf and dangerous rip currents.  This onshore pattern will also be tapping into more moisture… especially from Tuesday through Wednesday.   Expect pockets of rain.   Any showers or storms will likely be short lived as they steadily push along.  As you may have noticed, humidity values are lower at the moment (due to air arriving from the northeast, primarily).   Enjoy the break because some added steam will likely return in the days ahead… hanging around without the helpful breeze!   In the tropics, the former Tropical Storm Danielle made landfall along Mexico’s eastern coast Monday evening.   The system will continue weakening over land and virtually raining itself out over Mexico.   The rest of the tropics are quiet.   No tropical activity is expected over the next several days. 14
