The winds are picking up speed behind a weekend cold front as high pressure builds in over South Florida.

Expect a northeast breeze for your Monday with winds shifting from 10-20 mph. This will stir up water woes prompting beach and boating advisories through Monday night.

As we start the work week, drier air is also forecast to settle in. While we cannot rule out a quick coastal shower or two, we are looking at mostly dry conditions through mid-week.

Another cold front is forecast to move over the Sunshine State bringing a few showers on Thursday and clearing us out with a possible slip in temps by the weekend.
