The sea breeze is already firing up some showers and storms this Tuesday. Once the winds start picking up off of the ocean, showers and storms will move slowly inland. In the meantime, look for scattered showers and storms through the day. A few of them could be strong producing frequent lightning and periods of heavy rain.
By Wednesday, the winds turn out of the South-Southwest. This will aid in more tropical moisture to filter into South Florida and increase our rain chances. Whatever showers and storms that develop along the sea breeze collisions will start inland and move toward the coast.
For now, rain chances are at 50% through Thursday, so have the rain gear on hand. Slightly drier weather expected for the weekend.
