Local Weather: High pressure around the southeast United States is keeping a cool air supply in place across South Florida. Also, mostly dry conditions too! Temperatures will be a touch warmer by the afternoon signaling a slight change through Thanksgiving Day. Overall, our weather will be spectacular. Expect mainly dry conditions, a nice breeze and warm sunshine through the weekend!

FYI: Check with your flight carrier if your plans take you from the Gulf coast states into the Midwest between Tuesday-Wednesday as you try to make it to family and friends for the holiday. Give yourself plenty of time to travel.

Tropical Update: Tropical Storm Otto is nearing hurricane strength remaining stationary in the Southwestern Caribbean Sea. It is expected to become a rare late-season hurricane before making landfall in Nicaragua or Costa Rica on Thanksgiving Day. The main concerns for Central America will be the heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding and mudslides. Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama are some locations that could receive up to 10 inches of rain from Otto.

Have a wonderful day South Florida and make it a safe one!
