Local Weather: Clearing skies overnight with a persistent breeze out of the north helped temperatures tumble overnight. A small chill is in the air! Be sure to bundle up South Florida temperatures have reached the 50’s. By the afternoon, you will be taking off the layers as temperatures will be pleasant in the 70’s. Temperatures will moderately slowly to warmer levels going into Thanksgiving Day with temperatures to start in the upper 60’s and forecast highs in the low 80’s. Expect no major changes going into the weekend with dry conditions.

Travel plans for Thanksgiving… Check your flight carriers especially if it takes you to the Gulf coast states into the upper Midwest. Another storm system will be moving through the region bringing storms and a wintry mix.

Tropical Update: Tropical Depression Sixteen forms over the southwestern Caribbean Sea a few hundred miles east of Nicaragua. Slow strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours and likely to become a tropical storm later today or tonight. Interest in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and the islands of San Andres and Providencia should watch this system carefully. A tropical Storm Watch may be required later today.
