MIAMI (WSVN) - Today in Florida anchor Diana Diaz threw out the first pitch at Friday night’s Miami Marlins game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Diana accepted the invite as part of the team’s Nicaraguan Heritage Night celebration. The Marlins donated a portion of their proceeds to the nonprofit organization the American Nicaraguan Foundation, which helps people living in impoverished areas in Nicaragua.
By the looks of it, she did a pretty good job, throwing her pitch right down the middle.
The Marlins also beat the Dodgers with a final score of 4-1.
