CORAL GABLES, FLA. (WSVN) - The University of Miami has suspended one football player and is considering suspending another, as they investigate their use of luxury automobiles.

Linebacker Juwon Young, number 51, has already been suspended by the school for apparently getting a free luxury car from a local car agency. Defensive Lineman Al Quadeen Muhammed, number 8, is also being investigated for getting a car from the same agency.

Free gifts, such as cars, are a violation of NCAA rules. Sources said, Friday, that it is doubtful Young will be back with the team for the 2016 season.

UM, still on probation from the NCAA for the Nevin Shapiro scandal, begins their season on Sept. 3. That game, the team’s first under new coach Mark Richt, is against Florida A&M University.
