SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) – Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo was forced out of the game following the first period on Tuesday night after being struck in the head by a shot from Toronto’s Leo Komarov.

Luongo was hit on the side of the head by Komarov’s wrist shot with 4:03 left in the opening period. He was treated by trainers for several minutes and stayed in the game for the rest of the frame, but was replaced by Al Montoya to start the second period.
