TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) – Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher says there is a possibility safety Nate Andrews could play on Saturday when the 12th-ranked Seminoles host Miami.

Fisher said that Andrews is questionable but that the progress he has made this week from a deep bone bruise in his left leg is "mind boggling." Andrews, who suffered the injury in last Saturday’s 24-16 win at Wake Forest, was originally thought to miss 2-3 weeks.

Linebacker Terrance Smith is out due to a right ankle injury with Reggie Northrup and Ro’Derrick Hoskins likely to see more playing time.

Running back Mario Pender was released from the hospital earlier this week. He had been hospitalized nearly two weeks due to a collapsed lung. There is no word on a timetable to return.
