CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Miami Hurricanes junior guard Rashad Muhammad has been suspended for the first three games of the season for a violation of team rules.

Muhammad will miss games against Western Carolina, North Florida and Penn, the school said Tuesday.

He sat out the 2015-16 season after transferring from San Jose State, where he led the team in scoring for two consecutive seasons.
