MIAMI (AP) – David Peralta hit a two-out RBI double in the 13th inning, and the Arizona Diamondbacks spoiled Dan Jennings’ managerial debut by beating the Miami Marlins 3-2 Monday night.

Jennings gave up his job as Marlins general manager to move into the dugout and replace Mike Redmond, who was fired Sunday.

Arizona broke a four-game losing streak. The Marlins lost their fourth in a row and their seventh in eight games.

Rubby De La Rosa pitched a career-high nine innings for the Diamondbacks and allowed two runs. In 35 previous career starts, the right-hander had never gone more than seven innings.
