MIAMI (WSVN) - A major retailer is recalling thousands of glass candle jars after receiving complaints of cracking glass.
The Yankee Candle Company is recalling 31,000 candles after receiving 16 complaints of glass cracking when the candles are lit. The recalled candles are part of the company’s Luminous Candle Collection.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the glass cracking.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said customers should immediately stop using the recalled candles.
Yankee Candle’s website and stores sold the candles between September 2016 and November 2016. Customers can exchange them for a full refund.
