NEW CASTLE, Del. (WSVN) — A tractor-trailer carrying $5 million worth of pennies overturned near Wilmington, Delaware, Thursday.

Officials said the driver lost control, sending 40,000 pounds of unstamped copper coins down Interstate 95.

The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

It took crews 13 hours to clean up the mess.
