MIAMI (WSVN) - The day after Halloween marks an even more important holiday for Starbucks fans — Nov. 1 is a holiday all on its own, because holiday drinks are back at Starbucks.

Last week, a Reddit user supposedly leaked a picture of the design of Starbucks’ new holiday red cups for 2016. However, Starbucks has confirmed the cups will be a bright, forest green, with the scribbled faces of more than 100 people covering the green surface in order to “celebrate community.”

According to Starbucks, a single fine, white line connects all of the figures of people drawn onto the green cups. The faces represent “friends, baristas and customers.” These cups will be available exclusively in U.S. stores starting Nov. 1 for a limited time and while supplies last.

Since the green cups will be available in U.S. stores for a limited time, this means you can expect to see more traditional, red, cups starting later in November.

Red cup fans, rejoice!

Regardless of the #starbuckscupgate, starting Nov. 1, customers can enjoy the first taste of the season as Starbucks holiday beverages return to stores across the country, serving favorites like Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte and Gingerbread Latte.

Even though we don’t experience the change of seasons here in sunny South Florida, these delicious holiday beverages can be enjoyed iced or hot (while your air conditioning blasts in your car).

In 2015, the holiday cup’s design was changed to a bright, apple red, which caused a social media frenzy from fans who proclaimed Starbucks had taken part in the “war on Christmas.”
