(WSVN) - Publix Super Markets is recalling their Publix Premium Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream due to Listeria concerns from a third-party supplier.

According to Publix’s website, Aspen Hills, the company that supplies them with cookie dough, said their cookie dough bites could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Blue Bell’s cookie-dough related products were also recalled.

According to the CDC, the disease primarily affects older adults, pregnant women, newborns and adults with weakened immune systems.

The cookie dough ice cream was sold at Publix stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina with a UPC of 000-41415-03843, and a sell by date of May 27 2017, which is printed on the bottom of the half gallon container.
