SHERWOOD, Ore. (WSVN) — A couple from Sherwood, Oregon thought they had left their toddler with a trusted babysitter, but instead, they found their son badly bruised and with a black eye.

After Alicia Quinney and Joshua Marbury rushed their son to the hospital and filed a police report, they figured there would be an investigation. After all, they had found their badly bruised son on the floor, and the caretaker was passed out asleep on the couch, according to KPTV.

However, more than two months have passed and there has not been an arrest.

“I saw the evidence and what the doctors told me and showed me of a handprint on his face,” said Marbury. “There’s no denying what he did.”

That’s when the couple took their case to social media. On May 20, they posted two graphic photos of their baby son that were taken a day after he returned home from the hospital with a description of what had happened.

Only three days later, the post has gone viral, with over 291,000 shares.

Marbury and Quinney said the prosecutor on the case told them there isn’t currently enough evidence to bring charges against the suspect. However, the couple said they will continue to fight for justice.
