AUSTIN (WSVN) — A Texas man was hospitalized after he fell off a water slide down into a rocky cliff in Austin.
David Salmon was visiting from Dallas when he went on a water slide and quickly slid off. The incident was captured on video and then shared on his Facebook page where it has begun to go viral.
Salmon was sent to the hospital by ambulance and is suffering a broken arm, fractured ribs and multiple lacerations across his back, arms and side.
“Just found out I don’t need surgery so that’s good news! One more night in Austin then I can go home to Dallas,” Salmon said on Facebook.
The location of the water slide was not released.
