TOPEKA, Kan. (WSVN) – A hungry thief in Kansas was looking for a break and found a treat in one student’s car to help his empty stomach.

Kansas State University student Hunter Jobbins left his car unlocked, Sunday, for 15 minutes. He forget to bring in a Kit-Kat bar, which the thief snagged after opening the car’s door.

The hungry bandit didn’t leave without a parting note, though. It read: “Saw Kit-Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit-Kats, so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit-Kat. I am sorry and hungry.”

The note was handwritten and left in Jobbins’ car’s cupholder. The student shared the note on Twitter shortly afterwards and it went viral.
