MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) — Multiple lanes of the Florida Turnpike have been blocked in Miami Gardens due to a truck accident.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes, near County Line Road, have been affected due to a box truck that crashed and crossed over the median.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue has transported one person to the hospital. No other injuries have been reported.
Florida Highway Patrol is currently on the scene investigating and has said at least three lanes are blocked.
It is recommended that drivers avoid the area.
