COCONUT GROVE, Fla. (WSVN) — The driver of a tour bus who suffered a medical emergency that led to a chain-reaction crash in Coconut Grove has died, Friday.

According to Miami Fire Rescue, the 72-year-old driver passed away on Friday. Officials said he was behind the wheel of a bus carrying the University of Virginia baseball team, Thursday evening, when he somehow lost consciousness. The bus plowed into several cars in the area of Bird Avenue and U.S. 1.

No one else was injured.
