WSVN — There's a new $1.5 million effort underway to remove sunken tires dumped off the Fort Lauderdale coast in the 1970s. Is it money well spent? We take a ride to find out.

It's summertime in South Florida, but the beautiful blue water hides something troubling below the surface.
