FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) — Crooks tried putting on their running shoes after robbing a Fort Lauderdale shoe store, Wednesday morning.
According to Fort Lauderdale Police, they smashed a window to get into a Footlocker on Sunrise Boulevard and Northwest 10th Street, which triggered a silent alarm that alerted police.
Officials arrived just in time to catch the suspected crooks before they escaped.
