POMPANO BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Two Pompano Beach poll workers were fired Tuesday after the Supervisor of Elections office said they failed to follow procedure.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the  two precinct clerks at the Herb Skolnick Community Center, located at 800 S.W. 36th Ave., were involved in a disagreement over where volunteers could stand. The Supervisor of Elections office would not elaborate on which procedures were violated.

BSO deputies said no one was arrested, but the two clerks involved were asked to leave the property. Two other poll workers replaced their vacated positions.
