MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) - President Barack Obama’s event in Miami Gardens, which was canceled due to Hurricane Matthew, has received a new date and time.
The event is scheduled for Thursday at Florida Memorial University’s Athletic Arena and Wellness Center, located at 15800 N.W. 42nd Ave. According to event officials, doors open at 1 p.m., with the program beginning at 3 p.m.
Obama plans to campaign for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton at the Florida Democrats rally.
Three offices will offer tickets for the event, with sales beginning on Tuesday until Wednesday:
- Liberty City Office, 675 N.W. 62nd St., Miami, FL 33150
- Wynwood Office, 2215 N.W. 1st Place, Miami, FL 33127
- Miami Gardens Office, 4773 N.W. 183rd St., Miami Gardens, FL 33055
