MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Miami Beach’s mayor is getting his own limited-run show on satellite radio.

Sirius XM officials announced that Mayor Philip Levine will host a show aptly titled "The Mayor" beginning on Tuesday. Sirius XM says the six-week, hour-long show will run on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. through April 12. It’ll be on the network’s channel 121.

Levine told The Miami Herald that he is not getting paid for the gig but sees it as a chance to promote Miami Beach. The show will focus on mayors, cultural figures and entertainers from other American cities.

The mayors of Louisville, Kentucky, and Oklahoma City have already taped a roundtable discussion for the first show. Some future shows will be broadcast live.
