Man charged in killing of Miami-Dade corrections officer

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (WSVN) — A man accused of killing a Miami-Dade Corrections Officer has been charged with murder.

According to police, Brian Fairweather shot corporal Daveon Hall to death at the victim’s Pembroke Pines apartment back in January.

The suspect was allegedly enraged that his estranged wife and the victim were involved in a relationship.

Fairweather was charged Wednesday with premeditated murder.
