PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. (WSVN) – A worker at Port Everglades was struck and killed by a cargo truck, Monday afternoon.
The woman was driving in a golf cart around 2:20 p.m. when he was hit by the truck, in the cargo area of 4000 McIntosh Road.
Her body was underneath the back wheels of the truck, two hours later. The truck was pulling a containers at the time of the collision in an eastbound direction, when the victim was struck.
The Broward Sherrif’s Office is investigating this case.
