KEY BISCAYNE, FLA. (WSVN) - A maintenance worker fell about 15 feet down an underground shaft in Key Biscayne, Tuesday, leaving him trapped, suffering from several broken bones.
According to Key Biscayne Fire Rescue, City of Miami Fire Rescue assisted in helping free a maintenance worker who fell into the shaft, located at 235 Crandon Blvd.
It is unknown how long the man was stuck in the confined space.
He was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
His condition is unknown.
