MIRAMAR, FLA. (WSVN) - A woman is dead, after her car plunged into a canal in Miramar, early Wednesday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, she was heading northbound on Interstate 75 when she drove off an exit ramp and into a canal near westbound Miramar Parkway.
Divers pulled her out of the water and transported her to Memorial West Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
She was the only person in the vehicle.
The cause of the accident is now under investigation.
