Victim pistol-whipped, robbed in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Officials are searching for a man who pistol-whipped another man during an armed robbery.

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the man involved in this armed robbery.

He was caught by surveillance cameras inside a parking lot near Alton Road and 14th Street on Miami Beach.

According to police, the crook stole the victim’s phone and wallet. He also pistol-whipped the victim on the side of the head. At that moment, a shot went off, but no one was hit from the bullet.

The robbery happened as the victim was walking to his apartment, on Nov. 29.
