DANIA BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are on the hunt for a group of people who tried to break into several cars at a Dania Beach hotel.
According to officials, they received a call overnight from a witness who spotted the crooks in the parking lot of the Best Western Hotel on Stirling Road, just West of Interstate 95.
The group took off in separate cars. Two of the suspects crashed their vehicles, then jumped into a third vehicle and got away.
It remains unclear how many people were involved and if anything was stolen from the targeted vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.
