NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Two police officers driving in an unmarked police car suffered leg injuries after, officials said, they collided with another car in Northwest Miami-Dade, Thursday afternoon.
According to Miami-Dade Police, the officers were traveling northbound on Northwest 27th Avenue when a car, traveling southbound tried to turn left at Northwest 122nd Street. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
7Skyforce HD hovered above the scene and captured the badly damaged cruiser.
The northbound lanes of Northwest 27th Avenue are closed between 120th and 122nd streets.
The officers were transported to an area hospital in stable condition. They are expected to be OK.
The other driver remained at the scene. The motorist was not transported and is expected to be OK.
