PLANTATION, FLA. (WSVN) - The driver of a pickup truck was taken to the hospital after, officials said, he wound up submerged in a canal in Plantation, Tuesday night.
Officials said the vehicle went into the water near Southwest 14th Street and 61st Avenue, behind some homes.
When fire crews arrived on the scene, the driver was still stuck in the truck. The crews removed him and took him to the hospital. He is expected to be OK.
Crews towed the partially submerged truck out of the water.
