MIAMI (WSVN) - Miami foodies, the day has finally arrived — The Salty Donut is finally opening the doors to a permanent retail store in Wynwood.
The doughnut shop made the official announcement in a Facebook post, Tuesday.
The post pretty much expressed everyone’s excitement. “THE DAY WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!” started the post.
“We’re so excited for this moment ❤️,” continued the Facebook post. “It’s been an emotional rollerc oaster trying to get this store open, but all we care about at this point is for our customers to be able to experience our donuts in our final resting place!”
The doughnut shop will open its doors to the public this Saturday, Dec. 3, at 8 a.m., inside the Wynwood Arcade, suite 112, facing Northwest 23rd Street.
Dec. 3 also marks the one year anniversary of the store.
According to The Salty Donut, the first 100 customers on Saturday and Sunday will receive a free Traditional Glazed doughnut.
Looks like your post-Thanksgiving “diets” may be officially out the window.
