JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Officials say a teenage boy was bitten by a shark at a Florida beach.

The Florida Times-Union reports that the teen was swimming at Jacksonville’s Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park when he was bitten.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue says the boy was taken to a nearby hospital, but his injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
