FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - A teen shot by a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy after a troubling traffic stop Monday faced a judge, Tuesday.

Dalvin Williams was arrested Monday on charges of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and grand theft. A judge classified the 17-year-old as high risk, Tuesday, ordering he remain in juvenile custody.

A BSO deputy shot Williams in the shoulder after, BSO said, he tried to hit a deputy with his car after he was pulled over in Pompano Beach, Monday, in a suspected stolen vehicle.
