A South Florida cancer center received a gift to continue their research.
The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami announced the $50 million pledge from The Pap Corps to fund cancer research.
The announcement was made Thursday at the center’s Deerfield Beach location. It will begin major renovations in 2017 and be dedicated as the new Paps Corps campus in honor of the gift.
