FORT PIERCE, Fla (WSVN) — Police arrested a man accused of setting fire to a Fort Pierce church, Thursday.
Surveillance video from early Thursday morning shows a man pouring fluid on the doors of a church in Fort Pierce and igniting a fire with a cigarette lighter.
Police said 38-year-old Tyquaris Ward is the man in the video. They arrested him and charged him with arson.
The church’s doors were burned, but the fire didn’t spread inside.
