NEAR FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) – Kids in South Florida were granted a chance to shop with Broward County’s sheriff for the holidays.
About 100 students from elementary to high school were selected to shop with Broward Sheriff Scott Israel and his deputies.
Each child got a $100 gift card to buy whatever they wanted at a Wal-Mart, near Fort Lauderdale, Tuesday.
This is the 20th year the department has coordinated this event.
