HIALEAH, FLA. (WSVN) - A student was stabbed after an altercation at a Hialeah high school, Tuesday morning.
According to Hialeah Fire Rescue, the student was stabbed in the chest with a knife by another student at Westland Hialeah High School.
The student suffered a minor chest injury and was transported via ground rescue to Palmetto General Hospital. The other student was taken into police custody.
Charges against the student are pending.
